Also, to analyze your database, to configure your EFT Direct (Direct deposit) and customize your forms., you will be charge a minimum of 65.00 $.

Simply Accounting 2010 has been designed and built to run on the Windows 7 operating system. We are proud to announce that Microsoft has certified Simply Accounting to be "Compatible with Windows 7". By being certified, we can assure you that Simply Accounting is easy to install and reliable on PCs running Windows 7.
Workstation installation functionality removed:
Workstation installation is an installation option in which some components of Simply Accounting are not installed. This option was designed to save hard disk space.
Through feedback from our customers we learned that the workstation installation option caused confusion and was rarely used. To streamline the Simply Accounting 2010 installation process, the Workstation installation option was removed.
Please note that you can still install Simply Accounting on regular (non server) machines as well as on servers, including terminal servers. The improved installation process in Simply Accounting 2010 will guide you to easily install Simply Accounting on either a single or networked computer environment.
If you used the Workstation installation option to install Simply Accounting in the past, you will still able to install Simply Accounting with the new installation process.
Pocket PC installation removed:
This installation method allows Simply Accounting to work with mobile device.
Due to low usage from our customer on this option, we have removed it to improve clarity and efficiency for the installation process.
Payroll Module Changes — E-filing and printing of payroll forms:
In Simply Accounting 2010, the feature to e-file or print ROE, T4 and RL-1 forms will be available only to current SimplyCARE with Payroll customers. ROE, T4 and RL-1 are payroll forms which the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) requires businesses to file to keep payroll records up to date. In Simply Accounting, you can file payroll forms with convenience and accuracy because Simply Accounting automates a lot of the work for you.
If you are a current SimplyCARE with Payroll customer, this change will not affect you. If you are not a current SimplyCARE with Payroll customer, please subscribe to our SimplyCARE with Payroll service to enjoy these features. Simply Accounting has always offered an "open" payroll module – you can create and track your employee records, link payroll accounts and set up deductions and incomes. You can process payroll manually and print pay cheques for your employees. These functionalities will remain free for you to use.
The decision to make printing and e-filing of payroll forms available only for SimplyCare with Payroll subscribers is directly related to the cost of keeping these forms current – Customers who pay every year for the SimplyCARE with Payroll plans expect us to provide accurate forms, because they manage their payroll exclusively with Simply Accounting. This is a serious responsibility which we do not take lightly, and we invest in research, and development to ensure we maintain these forms, and make them available as they change in a timely manner.
Yes, you do. If you are using Simply Accounting to manually process your payroll, you can use the payroll reports to obtain information to file payroll forms. Once you have the information, you will be able to manually fill out the information on the payroll forms, which you can obtain from the CRA. However, because you have not used the updated tax tables delivered by us, your data could be inaccurate.
Effective August 1, 2009, SimplyCARE Customer Manager support plan will no longer be available. Existing plans will be honored until their current expiry date. More details are available online.
